buying feed for chickens

I havw had my chicks this year and we were given i large supply of feed from someone not local to us. I now need to get more but cant find anyone who sells it in this locality.

can you help me. I live north of brum so if you know someone around here that wave would be great

I found getting in touch with the animal feed manufacturers was all I needed to do....they have lists of the stores they deliver to. Usually you just have to enter your postal code & a company will come up, with their address, telephone no etc.

wave   Hi Jean and welcome to you.  I am lucky in that I have Bob, my pet food man who comes here once a month and I get all my dog food, hen food, wild bird seed and peanuts from him.  Perhaps I pay a bit more, but it is still cheaper than going back and forward to Dunoon.

I'm lucky to be in a rural area so I have plenty of choice, but I'd suggest searching your yellow pages for animal feedstuff suppliers, animal auction places and large pet food stores.

I don't know anywhere near brum but we buy our feed from Swanns at Allesley near Coventry. It might be a bit of a drive for you though - they are here if you're interested.
