Twas christmas eve

 and all was quiet

nothing stoped preperations

 not even a riot

the veggies were chopped

 the sprouts in there bag

the cheff at the sherry

,or out for a fag

the kidds were out sledging

and froze to the bone

dad was in the boozer

and he wasent alone

the ladies were chatting

sorting their woes

girls in their bedrooms

painting their toes

once more to the season

we throw ourselv's in

and wait in the parlour

for our kith and our kin

so remember dear freinds

its only a day

make it nice, but not too nice

because they may WANT TO STAY.

AND REMEMBER (IN THE SNOW NOBODY CAN HEAR YOU SCREAM )

HAVE FUN CHILDREN AND PLAY NICE

                                       MOS kisskiss

sit down with a cupa and the urge will subside
