Get in quickly.

Sony are giving away 17,000 copies to publicise the launch of the movie.

Good stuff, Sue and Nadine. I am pleased that somebody else availed of it.

The site says:

Good to hear, Martin and Mike. thanks for reporting back.

I wonder if they will all be gone by midnight?

Probably.

Fiona tweeted to all her followers too.

It's just nice to be able to pass on a "free lunch" like this. It's a rare occurrence.

Of course this will be another book to add to my `to read' pile. I have far too many books which I want to read but don't get chance to frown

It was posted on the Sunderland football forum, of all things!

I can't find the post on there now so I guess that the mods took it down because it's not football related.

Isn't the Internet such a fantastic resource? You keep on finding stuff day after day. I think it is mostly absolutely brilliant.

Ah, Red, tis a long story but it started back in '73.

Anyway, loads of Jawdees support Sunderland. The last time I was at the SOL I was approached by one who had an accent stronger than Alan Shearer's. eeek

People up there remind me of people at home in Cork. I feel really comfortable there.

I have the paperback – first 2 of the triology – got them for my birthday last year from Mike, he only bought me the first two as it was BOGOF and I've still yet to get round to buying the third. Enjoyed the book although found it odd. If anyone misses out and wants my paperback they are welcome to it, just pm me with your address.
