kate, pretty felty hat pins and things! you're so darned clever.
And lovin the 40'sparty pics- some pretty looking cars in the background there. More pretty cars here from my weekend away.
Now I shall take a few hours to catch upon other things round here, while feeling more than a little overwhelmed by the scale of devastation in the house and garden from two weeks of neglect :(

Today I achieved a full days work! In between I came home and had a lovely lunch with MOS and his wife. They we en route for the ports and stopped by for a bite to eat. We had a really lovely time; it was as if we had known them for ever and now we cant wait to meet up with them some time in the future. This evening I will chop up some more apple jellies. Tomorrow busy day at work, plus some fig harvesting, plus daughters school on strike; YES ALREADY!!!

How rude of me, sorry Kate, I meant to say how pretty your things were but got bogged down in getting my pictures up on Flickr.
Shelley, If I could have danced I would have, they were doing the Lindy Hop and I used to love doing that. I had to have two visits to the Museum, my legs gave out after an hour.
So glad you got to meet Mr. & Mrs. MOS – any pictures?
Rae, you saw many more cars than I did! I hope you enjoyed your weekend.

no pics I am afraid as we were so rushed; I had to work until half past 12, then had to leave for work again at 2pm and they didnt arrive until 1pm and had to rush off again
Hopefully there will be pics at the next visit!

My achievement for today is to see that the little icon , is actually a smiley laughing face rather than a cool guy in shades with cool eyebrows. Should wear my glasses more often and not just when I am studying
