Oh Shelley – I've been there – it breaks your heart, doesn't it?

So, too, when hubby forgot to put in the seal in the espresso coffee maker – all over the walls, the ceiling – and WHO gets to clear it up? steam

I think you know the answer to that!!  big_laugh

Yes, Joanna, CL magazine was worth it.  Today I have achieved something!  Got my new pain killer medication which I kept forgetting.  Rather worried though by the instructions for Tramadol.  I'm not too happy about taking an opiate.  Has anyone else used it?

I'll try that again!

Good idea Danuta, but not Wiki, I don't trust it at all but there will be NHS web-sites that should tell me more about it.

I'll try that again!

thanks for the condolences guys, 'm afraid they were an almost toal loss. I'd picked up a few that had been knocked off when still green and made some ketchup from them, and my mother was around for sunday lunch one weekend and took a few ripe and nearly ripe ones home with her. She had considerably more of them than we did!

In good news the tiny super hot chillis are being hailed as a sucess, and all manner of chilli things will undoubtedly eb made, chilli chocolate truffles, chilli vodka, apple and chilli jelly maybe, chilli chocolate muffins have been suggested.

And though (touch wood) i've not suffered the sort of explosive mess type thing that others have been describing, my heart goes out to you. Just thinking about it makes me feel tired, actually having to deal with it would probably make me cry.

Well, it was all the same info that came in the pack…only slightly less scary.  So – I have taken one 50mg capsule about 10 minutes ago and am now awaiting developments.  I do prefer not to take painkillers but after Kate said that she manages to walk if she takes some before she goes out, I thought I'd try that too.  So I'm hoping that they don't make me dizzy, so that I'll be able to drive after taking them.

I'll try that again!

wave Oh I do hope you will be okay Toni.  I do worry you know.  Let us know how you get on please.  But you and Kate are right, if painkillers work and there are no ill effects, why go without them.  big_hug

Well I won't be taking any more of those – I have palpitations, sweats, nausea and dizziness.  Four and a half hours since I took that one capsule and I still feel dreadful, how much longer will it stay in my body, I wonder?

I'll try that again!

Phew I was given that last year; sorry to say it wasn't for me: pain wise it was ace as I had NO PAIN at all, however, when I went to get up in the morning I fell over!! My balance was gone and I just couldn't function.  Really hope it works for you, just watch out for the side effects.

I am currently trying to get off my pain killers; no too bad except for my feet, which are very sore!!

Winter is always worse for me though, so I'll wait till then for the verdict!!

Today worked and had my hair coloured; not much else!

My SIL took them after his dreadful bout of pancreatitis last year, and he continued on and off for a whole year. He seems better now, but still has relapses. The Tramadol didn't have any obvious side-effects – they seemed to work for him.

I was given some Ramipril by my GP back in February – by the end of May, I had most of the side-effects on offer (!) – just couldn't cope with it. Yet my sister is taking the same pill, but three times the dose I was on, with no side effects !

Shelley, what colour is your hair – not red or blue like Rae Mond has had? big_laugh
