I'm under 25 and mediumly educated. But I am indeed childless and intend to stay this way,and female, but I mostly browse from work because I'm bored to tears otherwise.

very bizarre comments indeed; are we educated or not. I am certainly not childless nor do i usually browse from home.
Anyway my achievement for today is that I have just correctly labelled all of my jams, sauces and chutneys ready for my first mkt on saturday.

All – I agree that the Alexa analysis is over-generalised ( actually, quite a load of rubbish – advertisers know that too) but Google agrees that people on here are pretty smart.

I'll be thinking of you Shelley – I will be running my stall on Saturday, too – let's hope we both earn some money for our efforts.
Good luck!

Fiona got a massive compliment today on the moneysavingexpert.com forum – I saw several incoming visitors from there and checked out the source.
Scroll down to post #257
I just now told F as she is watering the garden and she is really chuffed.
Also, Alexa has improved this site rating to 156,725 out of all of the millions (100+) of web sites in the world and one of the top 5,000 in the UK. Thanks everybody. It's not just Fiona's articles but your comments and forum posts also that play a major significant role. Alexa rankings are one of the factors that potential advertisers take into account and that is important if we are to retain the cottage.
(moneysavingexpert is #1,575 globally and #53 in the UK so that puts our tiddly site in perspective! Google is #1)

Congratulations too on the improved Alexa ratings from a 41 year-old, middly educated, childless woman who's currently browsing from work while the computer trundles away to itself uploading some reports in the almost-background.

Yaaay Shereen – we've got somebody on the inside!! Thank you. I would love to visit other forums but there simply are not enough hours in the day. I know I am missing out on loads.

A nice minor achievement happened just now when the "Most users ever online" got bumped up from 24 to 28, with 20 guests and 8 logged in.

I didn't think Guests were counted!
Who is this Alexa and her sweeping generalisations? Darn cheek!
Elrohana, enjoy your new car; Shelley and Val, have a very profitable time on your respective stalls, I'll expect full reports you know.
And to everyone else who has achieved anything recently – a Gold Star.
I've managed to change my Library books and to buy a belated birthday present for my lovely SiL. Now to tackle the rather large courgettes that my ex-husband has just given to me…

Today I hope to be achieving by proxy – the Sam is off doing an RYA ICC (Royal yachting Association International Certificate of Competence, that is) thing on the parental boat, so by tomorrow eve he should, fingers crossed, have the correct bits of paper to enable him to skipper any motor boat up to 24 metres long.
I'm actually slightly miffed about this, as I've been wanting to do a sailing course for AGES, and my mother keeps making noise about paying for it, yet she's only known Sam for 8 months, and already she's splashed out for him to do this.
I'm quite convinced that she loves him more than she loves me, which is actually quite understandable, as he is rather wonderful.
To my Mother, when it suits her, Sir is 'the son I never had' and I am the rather unsuitable daughter-in-law….you are not alone!

I have no guilt-tripped her into promising to finance me to get the same level of qualification for proper sailing type boats – which will cost a hell of a lot more we don't currently have one for me to practice on.
I also just got a text from the to say that they had been boarded by the Police in the middle of the Bristol Channel…

" Compared with all internet users, it appeals more to women; its audience also tends to consist of childless, both uneducated and highly educated users over the age of 45 who browse from home."
Female – yep
Childless? If it means the kids have left home then yes but that is not often a term used for my condition
Uneducated and highly educated – well that covers rather a large ground then
Over the age of 45 – Hmmph yes welll just!
Browse from home – yep
I don't usually fit into these types of things but I guess I am not fitting what they think of when they read that list

Ha! Waht do they know?
I am ACTUALLY 17, male, education? What education? Have seven children by three different mothers, on the run from the CSA and browsing anywhere I can get free wi-fi on my laptop.
I simply have a very rich fantasy life in which I am a retired art teacher who grows vegetables.
