I thought Mutley meant that he was going to use it on something other than Jade's toys…like low flying Canada geese so that he can get the feathers.  big_laughbig_laugh

Danuta…..

Will he use willow or won't he…that's mine….we are talking Mutley here….time for another drink and it's really late for me to be up but I did get my head down this afternoon…

Too hot for anything else after robbing my lady's garden of all her goodies…no… they were actually gifted…potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, sweetcorn, green beans, red onions, egg plants, and it took lots of energy to carry them from the car to home….big_laughbig_laugh  and I am two hours on from you…..

and I still think that the low flying Canada geese should be warned….or the RSPB…roll_eyesroll_eyes

Mutley, you are priceless big_laugh

Welcome back, Shereen. Sounds like you had a grand time altogether. Isn't it brilliant to get away for an occasional break?

My achievement over the weekend was to build an online store here on the site and "stock" it with wonderful stuff from all over the big UK mail order merchants. It was like being a child in a toyshop! Tedious work, though. No cash outlay other than the software because it is all based on affiliate commission for Fiona. It's not ready to be unveiled to the Universe just yet. I got a bit whisky befuddled at about ten last night so hope to progress things over the next few evenings. It's a small start but we can build up the range of items over time.

Now I am so far behind with catching up on your goings ons here that I had better do it in small chunks or another few hours will be lost doh

Never knowingly underfed

Re Mutley and his bow, might

"but need to find some will to do the next up-grade"

mean he needs to find the motivation to complete the next upgrade?

Also well done D with the online empire, i mean shop, building. I look forward to seeing it unveiled.

Not much by way of ahcievements to report from my end 'm afraid. Made a cake for Sam's dad's birthday, went to visit them, got a marrow in return, and a demijohn with which to begin the wine making, so that should be fun.

This evening I plan to make runner bean chutney, will let you know how it goes. And have nearly finished my first homemade christmas present for this year. At this rate I may just about be done by december!

In other news, I don't remember if I've mentioned this on here (and i'm too lazy to check…), the Sam has been applying to various funding councils to get financed to stay at Cardiff uni for three more years doing post doctoral rsearch, and they had the result of their final application last week. Like all the others, it was a no.

So at some point, hopefully soonish, we'll be on the move! I say hopefully soonish not because I'm eager to up sticks, but because since his PhD funding ran out he's technically unemployed, and living off his savings, so the sooner he gets a job, the better as far as his bank balance is concerned.

No idea where we'll end up yet, but you can be sure to be kept in the loop.

Danuta! Hello!

You know that pitter patter or puppy paws you're expecting in 9 weeks? Any plans for the dispersal of the teeny adorable thingies? (subtlty was never my strong point).
