Does spending yesterday doing my best to catch up with you chaps/lasses count? Damn, you buggers are prolific but it's all good stuff :-)
If not, well the only other thing I managed was to make flapjacks.
to all you folks

Danuta! Hello!
You know that pitter patter or puppy paws you're expecting in 9 weeks? Any plans for the dispersal of the teeny adorable thingies? (subtlty was never my strong point).
 Hi Rae Mond
If the mating has been successful I will be selling the puppies about the end of November. They are full labs, but because they are of working stock My Midge does not have her pedigree. The sire however has a wonderful pedigree full of Field Trial champions. The most important thing for me is that they have a wonderful nature ( and of course are gorgeous to look at )

would you consider mates rates for a fellow forumite? If, that is, we're in a place to look after a pup, both in terms of geography and chronology. When the Sam gets a job I hope to go back to being a student, which would give me plenty of time to be at home training and looking after one, and we both really really want a dog.
We also like the idea of a greyhound, but ex racers tend not to be cat friendly. It's an issue with many rescue dogs, though I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult to find one that's cat safe.

Not sure what I will be asking for them at the moment, so can't really answer the question. However it is a long way to come for a pup. Mind you it would be great to have a visit!!!
You are right to think about how you will be placed before considering a dog. But you would love the labs. Anyway I'm not even sure she's preggers yet. Bit premature eh ( pun intended )
Anyone you only fancy one because the sire is called Sam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love it !!
I kind of guessed that The Sam was not a bitch, but, these days – who knows
Rae – just so you know – our next door neighbour raises Lab puppies. She charges between £600 to £1,000 per puppy. Males cost far more than females.
Just so you know.

hmmmm.taking in rescue dogs is a sort of service to the community though, so perhaps we should deny ourselves and do that instead…

Sorry – - Fiona has corrected me. I was thinking of her sister's pug puppies.
The labs are about £400 to £500 but I guess the price varies depending on breeding factors etc, as you pointed out, Danuta.

NON im'e afraid i keep taking the tablets but they don't help ,just give me wind
so just relax and let the madness flow over you like warm molasses
its quit nice once you stop fighting it
and as an achievement i have rebuilt thr storm drain on the drive (bucket of concrete)
sprayed the two front wings on the camper
changed the sockets in the kitchen for brass ones ripped the hot water tank out
moved the chicken run
chased the turkeys back from next door
picked some beans and brocolli
dug up some taters
walked the dog
bathed the dog (fox S**t)
charged the battery on my now dead laptop
and i am now going to have a cuppa and a bickie
just to keep me on topic MOS

honestly, some people! Coming on here bragging about all the stuff they get up to. I don't know. We poor schmucks stuck in offices all day only read in wonder and glower jealously at the screen
Today I've answered some enquiries, typed up some meeting notes and answered the phone. It's not terribly thrilling, I know
This afternoon I have a church committee meeting, and then I plan to role up my sleeves and get stuck into a blackberry harvest, and then turning the harvested goodies int jam and sorbet, knock out some experimental gooseberry icecream, whip up a load of banana bread, finish the last row and edging of the blanket i'm working on, finish unpicking the mistakes in the cross stitch i'm working on, start a new crocheted blanket, do some laundry and weed the onion patch, and then…ride my flying pig to the pub, if I actually manage it all.
2 out of those 10 would see me content I reckon.
