We have a gap in this forum that falls somewhere between the Jokes thread and our achievements thread.

Loads of amusing things happen every day but are not quite worthy of posting in the Jokes thread – neither are they achievements! what_the_heck

Like a few minutes ago, in our bathroom. Fiona cleaned out the "medicine cabinet" over our loo cistern during the week. While I was having a pee just now, my eye fell upon something small that was lodged between the cistern cover and the wash-hand baisin.

On closer inspection it appears to be a tooth of mine that was extracted by the dentist years ago. I guess I saved it as a memento! Sad or what? smile

Tomorrow I will actually pick it up and examine it. But not this evening, thank you very much. big_laugh

Oddly enough when I went on a French Exchange trip at 17, the humbling thing was to realise that the family's seven year old daughter spoke better French than me. How did she manage that!?

We went for a walk in our forest today and some places are rather swampy this year, managed not to get water in the wellies, but there was one point where my welly was well and truly stuck in the mud. Nearly had to have a gallant rescuer, but managed to extricate myself without falling in the mud amazingly.
