Over the past two months or so I have neglected my very great friends on this forum. For that, I sincerely apologise.
Just been in a bit of a slump. I have let many things go unattended, not just this forum. And, of course, now I have a small mountain to climb on many fronts.
Suddenly, the chemical balance appears to have righted itself at last and I am getting back on track. I have no excuses. It’s just been a down time.
OK, onwards and upwards from this point on!
Today, I discovered that the mysterious new building opposite our Waitrose store in Newmarket is, in fact, a Premier Inn hotel. My favourite “budget” brand. There is no published opening date on their web site but this may be a useful source of alternative accommodation for the planned get-together in the summer.
Love to everybody

Oh Danny, don't worry about this – I know exactly what you mean and have been going through the same thing, no energy for anything, no enthusiasm, so you let it slide and suddenly there's so much to do and you're too scared to even think about starting – its been a rubbish Winter, so many people I know are in the same boat. The snowdrops are poking through here, and I saw a daffodil trying to break through yesterday, hopefully Spring is coming and will cheer us all up.

Danny you have no need to apologise for anything. We have missed you and I am so sorry things have not been so good for you. I am just glad you feel better and I am privileged you are sharing it with us.
Funnily enough I was talking about the CSH get together last night and wondering if it was still a possibility. Would just love to meet my new friends.
Danny I wish you well and hope that you continue to be on the up. We have all got so much to be grateful to you for and we all care about you. So never apologise for feeling low. We all go through it from time to time. What matters is that you feel better now.
I send you and Fiona love and lots of

I'm sorry you've been feeling down……I've been a bit (a lot!) like that too, it's a lot to do with this dreaded winter I think, it feels like it's been going on for ages and robs you of any enthusiasm for anything other than battening down the hatches and moping around indoors (well, it does me anyway). S.A.D. I think they call it, an apt name
But, as Elrohana has said above, Spring is clearly on it's way and, in the words of the song, "things can only get better!" (with a little help from ourselves).
Thank you for this lovely forum, I'm so glad I found you all.

Danny you were missed, but you had a good reason. Sometimes you've just got to take a break from online stuff to get yourself sorted out in the non-online world. January's a long, dark old month and it's nice to see the snowdrops in early February.
It's good to have you back.

Take care Danny, good to have you back, but as already said let it happen at it's own pace. This winter has been a shit and robbed a lot of us of our natural enthusiasm but we are nearly through it now although apart from the fact that it is a little warmer today you would never know it. Keep on trucking boyo you have a lot of grateful friends here.

Hi Danny
As I've really only got the CSH bug in the last couple of months, I didn't know any different, but if you've been down, glad you're coming back up, what's this about a get together?

Apparently January only had 42% of the sunshine we normally get in January, which is sod all at the best of times, so no wonder you've been gloomy Danny!
Good to hear from you,I know all about the mountain climbing aspect of gloom….I'm a gurl ( when I last checked) so it isn't too cheesy to send this .

Danny, wondered where you were. Have a little read up on vitamin D supplements, well proven to help through the dark winter days.

Dearest Danny & Fiona,
Yes I agree with elrohana and I do empathise with you, It's awful feeling like this, listless, miserable, not feeling able to gather up the enthusiam to do anything, so please don't ever feel the need to apologise. I don't think that you realise all that you've done for so many of us, especially myself for making this site so enjoyable, making it all possible and making the success that it is today, which with-out you & Fiona it wouldn't exist….then what would we do?
I send you both lots of love, best wishes, , and am pleased that you're feeling better. I hope that you go from strength to strength and soon feel 'your-self' again.
Love to you both xxx
Odelle.
