However I am not letting myself book the holiday till I have lost 2 stone.  eeek   I have so much more than that to lose, but this trip is such an incentive I might just succeed this time.

Ok I have put it into print now, so I will have to keep going won't I?   roll_eyes

You have to keep going now, because if I get a message saying that you won't come and see me because you haven't lost enough weight, I am going to be very sad!cry

wave  I am feeling very positive.  I just hope it continues,  but as I said " what an incentive"  It couldn't be better.  Can you tell me where are you in Oregon,  Michelle so I can look it up.  I still can't believe this could all happen.  surprised

I am in Monroe, OR.

If you look half to three quarters of the way down the Willamette Valley, we are between Eugene and Corvallis.

Its a great place for getting to other places, if that makes sense.

I'm about 90 minutes from the beach, or the mountains (real mountains!) or if I want to shop in a big city Portland is also about 90 minutes away too. And about 3 hours away is the "High Desert" in Eastern Oregon, with rangeland and views that would stop your heart.

What ever you want to see, we'll go! Hey, we could even go find that "World's largest mushroom" that's over in Eastern Oregon.

It's hard to believe that it's a month since I opened this thread. What lovely sentiments

– thank you very much indeed.

And we "fingered" a living, breathing Mutley. Great police work by TA and Michelle.

Thank you both for that.

I must say that seeing MOS and Heather here cheered us up no end.

Off now to finally settle on a date for the meet-up. Must check Newmarket races and Tattersall's sales event calendars and avoid those at all costs.

The prospect will galvanse us into action to put the cottage back in order. A good spring

clean is on the cards for this weekend. Fiona has begun her planting season in earnest

and the ones that went in last year are beginning to peep through.

Never knowingly underfed

2 bits of info to share from last night.

1. Mutley accepted my friend request on Facebook yesterday.

2. Mutley logged onto the TCS forum.

Does anyone see any messages? I can't tell if he wrote anything…..what_the_heck
