I am sighing with you Kate.      Big_Hug      Disappointed for you.   Big_Hug   Please keep trying.  I know I don't know much about art, but I like what you do and think you are a  Star.

I might be disappointed Danuta, but the Royal Academy must be rubbing its hands with glee- over 10,000 people entered this year and we all paid £50 to do so….Eeek….. thanks for the kind comments: I'm taking it out on the pesky woodruff.

What a shame Kate.  Come here and have a hug Big_Hug.  Think about it, would you want to be hung anywhere that Tracy Emin frequents? Wink

I'll try that again!

Oh dammit, Kate. That is a bummer yet again. I see where you are coming from when you mention the numbers that expose it as a real earner for the RA.

This has nothing whatever to do with your art but I am in mind of an amusing scene with W. C. Fields in a movie where he was on board a cruise liner with his niece (I think, or granddaughter). They were both painting on deck one afternoon. She looks at his canvas:

"Oh, Uncle, will you hang it?"

"Hanging is too good for it," replied the gruff old bugger.

An old quote but it was my first time hearing it!

And like the book reviewer who wrote:

"This is not a book to be lightly set aside.

Rather, it should be hurled with great force!". I love that one.

That must portray some symbolism, Kate.

What did you have in mind when you were painting it?

Gosh Kate, thats beautiful!!!

Dare I ask, how much you would charge for it?

Or are you going to do prints of it?

I probably couldn't afford the original, but a print is probably in reach if you were going to do that.

PM me if you'd like. I'd really like to know.
