must admit though i took a BMW 1000 boxer up to chester and i thouroughly enjoyed it sooo smooth and efortless i was almost converted ,but i had a cupa and the urge to buy went away MOS

Goodness me. Biker snobs! Confused

There is a big HD garage / sales outlet in Black Bear lane, Newmarket. Whatever you say about them mechanically, they are certainly eye catching (and ear catching) machines.

I agree that BMW are smooth but they have no character.  I went on the back of a BMW, to live in Sweden; smooth ride, good handling and reliable.

I'll try that again!

yep EP all of the above but a bit soulless ,i dont know what it is i look for it a bike but when i ride one i like it just feels rite ,supose its horses for courses ,if we were all the same there would only be one type of bike Confused

We are bikers too...my O/H has a ducati and a triumph, and i have a suzuki gsxr and a honda vfr 400...oh, and another vfr 400 for track days so i can blast past all the big boys on the corners!! devil   love biking - have done over 20,000 miles on the gixer in less than 3 years. Love it for touring - been to isle of man, le mans moto gp, devon several times, scotland a couple of times, etc.....

Oh wow, a Ducati!  My life's dream, now I am truly jealous! monster  Your bikes are cool too.  I do so wish that I hadn't had to give up riding, I'm not that happy driving a car.frown
