Hi Rob,

Glad to hear that you are in the new house & are settling in & all are happy. It takes a while to sort out new patterns of commuting to & from work. Hope to see more of you on the forum soon.  Here's to your new home........champagne

Very good news indeed Rob, I hope you sort yourselves out soon and settle into the new rhythm.  I am going to be nosy - you say 'the rest of us moved in on Aug 3rd', I thought it was only you and your mother who were moving, so who else is there?  Don't answer if you think I am being too inquisitive! embarassed

I'll try that again!

Hi ToffeeApple, my sister is the third person.  She is in denial though...lives here at the weekend and stays with friends in London in the week...city girl through and through and cannot cope with all the green space down here...

Thank you Rob.  I recall that your sister was unhappy about moving out of London.  I hope that she finds a solution.

I'll try that again!

Hope she settles Rob. Lots going on in Crawley, big leisure centre (discounted for residents) multiplex cinema, bowling, loads of restaurants and pubs, easy access to London and Brighton. Major airport with easy train link, regular markets, good shopping centre, lovely parks and lots of opportunities for clubs or night school classes. Sure there is lots more but my brain is not in gear yet!
Yes there are lots of green spaces and the countryside is not faraway, but it has all you would want from a big town. Some fantastic curry houses too!

wave  So glad to hear that you are happy in your new house Rob.  It is such a major thing to do and it is such a relief when it is all over and you begin to feel settled.  I wish you all the best in your new home and hope your mum and sister will be happy too.
