Specifically AVG Internet Security.  Mine is showing that Anti-Spyware, Anti-Virus and Link Scanner Data bases are all out dated but doesn't indicate how to up-date them, does anyone have any idea?  I keep pressing the update button which then tells me to restart the machine for updates to take effect, but it doesn't work.  Can anyone advise me please?

I'll try that again!

I asked Dan as he was walking out the door to work this morning, and his reply was, of course, "Tell TA we'll bring her a copy of Norton 360 and get her REAL INTERNET SECURITY! big_laugh

One thing? Dan's a little worried that you may have picked up a Trojan.

Are you sure its AVG that is asking you to do these updates?

You may want to search online and make sure there isn't something new that has been unleashed that looks like AVG but isn't.ponder

If you can't be a shining example, be a terrible warning!

Thanks Michelle and Dan.  I have sorted the problem now with the help of AVG in Manilla.  I have un-installed and re-installed the program and it is working perfectly now.  No need to bring Norton, thanks all the same! big_laugh

I'll try that again!
