We are planning to invite all comers on that day. I doubt we will have as many people as last year but you never know.

See the first post in last year's thread for accommodation details. The event will kick off at lunchtime – say 1 pm-ish.

It is not restricted to forumites or even regular blog readers. Just let us know to expect you and you will be very welcome indeed.

Fiona described the 2011 event on her blog post here. It brings back many amusing memories.

It shall forever be known as the FECKLESS YOUTH party big_laugh

The photos have gone missing unfortunately – lost in our Dec server move. They are on Fiona's laptop "somewhere" and we must upload them again.

Anyway, let us know if you intend to try to make it or not. No commitment. Just for a vague idea of numbers.

Really looking forward to seeing some you again this year. big_hug

Hi Danny.

I'd love to come if I can get transport again.

With a supply of garlic of course :-)

I'd love to come Danny, not sure if I can yet, but could you tell me the name of the guest house next door (where Danuta stayed last year) as I don't think I could manage another campin night.

TA could you get a train to anywhere near the M1 without going through London, somewherelike Northampton or similar, ( or peterborough) if that was the case, and I am able to go, I would be happy to drive down and collect you

(did we have a similar conversation last year?)

Honey, we did but you were going on your bike. (Thank you for the thought) I think that Bob or Seth said that I could get from Bedford to Cambridge by train but I need my OH to check that out, he has maps in his head.  I shall get back to you .

I'll try that again!

Okey dokey, Cambridge would be good, I could do that easily too. Never made it on the bike last year as took a friend – Judith, her of the now famous (infamous) feckless youth comment. Vey unlikely to be bike this year as its currently laid up. Would be lovely to meet the toffeeapple in person laugh

Mmmm, would love to come this year…..although it would most likely have to be a day trip rather than an overnight job.  Will have to be extra-specially nice to Husband eeekbig_laughbig_laugh

Simon – I know that Ruth was asking if we had a date in mind, so likely that she may consider it and pick you up in passing again. I know she has been poorly and maybe is on holidays ATM.

Janet – Danuta stayed here. So did Chris and Anne. Old style with shared bathroom but you can literally jump over our fence to get home!

Dan and Michelle stayed here. Brent and Lynne came that day for lunch.

Day trippers are welcome too. It will be no fault of ours if you stay longer than you intended!

Well, I've had a word with him and he's thinking about itsmile.  It's not just a case of the distance, as Husband works Fri/Sat nights he would have to take 2 days leave…..

I am hopeful though, I would really like to come this year.

I am sure if we are here on that day I can pop over – last year OH was doing a WI catering event so i could not stay long as the dog was on her own- if it all pans out , I will be there.

 Are we having fun yet?
