Now I'm feeling guilty  cry

devil

Maybe after Easter I'll work out how much it costs to do and post. Probably about £4.00 per pack of three including vacuum packed, packing and posting (and that doesn't include any profit) wink This is including costs of garlic, meths, vacuum bag, postal pack, and postage. The costs needs to be looked into properly of course. Does that seem reasonable?

What I would do is announce that I'm going to smoke (or have smoked) over a weekend and ask for names. First 5 (or however many packs worth I have smoked) would secure a pack of three (fnarr fnarr) devil

Special (larger) orders could be catered for, for a "special" price. big_laugh

I reckon Paypal transfer would be the best way, no fees if a basic transfer ok

No Simon, it doesn't seem reasonable...........it seems an absolute bargain!!! surprised

I'd certainly be interested - and willing to pay more, don't sell yourself short.

Me too, but I think you are underselling.  As I said in another post, I paid £1.50 for one smoked bulb.  BTW, what do you use meths for?

I'll try that again!

Simon I agree with Sue & TA....you must make a sensible profit otherwise you should not do it.  I know we all like a bargain, but not from friends. I would buy it for sure! I have wanting to try smoked garlic for ages.

Good luck to you in the venture.

cheers

£1.50 for one bulb surprised Gosh they are making a good profit. Looks like I'll have to re-think doh

big_laugh

The meths is to heat the smoker. These days its more expensive than Gin to drink devil

My first rule is don't rip off your friends.

Ok I'll build in a little profit.

At the moment I usually give it to friends, but quite often get a pint or two out of it cheers

PM me your address Hattie and I see if I can stick a free sample bulb in the post, I have a spare one (with one clove missing smileok

I admit that the bulb I bought had been smoked in France and then imported but the flavour was worth every penny of it.  Don't forget to check out PO preferred sizes for packages too, they might alter the pricing.

I'll try that again!

Don't feel guilty simon, it was only doing a wind up, but I do recall the smell of the stuff we took away from the smallholder get together last year...I'd be up for the occasional purchase.
