One day Danuta, one day. After all you can fly direct from Glasgow on the dreaded Ryanair. If not you have to do a two stop flight and visit someone else too cheers

September 13th- 27th.

God help me, here we come! big_laugh

Yaaaaay! Fantastic, Michelle star star and for Dan: ok pint pint pint

What a b'day present for F (14th). the Bucks regional meet-up sounds like a great idea if we can arrange it. We are about 60 miles from MK.

Does Dan intend to call into Reading while he is here, or is it strictly pleasure?

Never knowingly underfed

doh

I swear the forum hates me now…..what did I ever do to it?

I just need to do copy before I post, i'm just too trusting…

All right….Dan and I had a lovely chat with Danuta via Skype yesterday, and I think we determined that Danuta needs us for 3 days. (Only fair, she's coming to see me, after all!) So she will put us on the train south sometime on the 17th.

So, if I am holding the map right, that would mean Janet would be the next logical person to visit. (Not that I'm saying you're a logical person Janet….oh never mind! big_laugh)

To make a suggestion for the Bucks Regional, would the 24th or 25th be all right? Ruthie will be visiting her father for his B'day so I remember the 24th would be better for her…

And now to display my true ignorance of UK geography.

embarassed Bucks?

I try looking it up on a map and it points to the middle of nowhere, so its a county? Or is it short for something?

If you can't be a shining example, be a terrible warning!

It was lovely speaking to Michelle and Dan last night.  We were so excited and planning our trip up the west coast.  Then it down south to hopefully meet lots of you lovely people.  big_hug

You are going to be on tenter-hooks for months now!  I don't understand Skype, can you explain it to me please?

I forgot to say, I have access to a good meeting place if we do get together, we have our own Resident's Club here on my estate.

I'll try that again!

If you google Skype you will see that you can download it.  It means when you set up a free account you can speak  to anyone else in the world who is also registered.   Michelle and I spoke for 30 minutes last night  all for no cost at all.  I have used it to speak to my brother when he was in Oman and my son in India.  It really is worth doing.

Thank you for that.  I shall investigate. You don't have to have a web-cam, do you?

I'll try that again!

wave  Last night I could see Michelle and Dan, but they couldn't see me – don't know if it is something I am not doing.  However we could still speak perfectly well.
