"I thought I'd share this video with you all. Kseniya Simonova , a young artist with fantastic talent who won Ukraine's version of "America's Got Talent." She uses a giant light box, dramatic music, imagination and "sand painting" skills to tell her story.

Kseniya recounts Germany conquering Ukraine in the second world war. She brings calm, then conflict. A couple on a bench become a woman's face; a peaceful walkway becomes a conflagration; a weeping widow morphs into an obelisk for an unknown soldier.

The audience is crying because of the song that is played at that time: "fallen soldiers are not in the ground but in the sky as white birds. That is why sometimes we look up and can't turn our eyes from them"         She subtitles the final scene "you are always near". (apologies if you have seen it already)

Relying on a dongle for interweb connections means video's are impossible aargh , however when I used to be a virgin user discovered ' is it a penis ' google it ,it's not rude but  very clever and funny ! big_laugh

Seed catalogues are responsible for more unfulfilled fantasies than the web and playboy combined . (after Michael Perry)

Bob, I had seen the video before but hadn't been told the story, it makes a lot more sense now, thank you.  She is a very talented young lady.

Seth, that's a brilliant video, so cleverly done, thank you too.

I'll try that again!

Sorry it's a bit heavy loading ep, it's worth watching when your speeds pick up in Bulgaria.

(btw,  I once had a Big Mac in Sofia . The owner of the company I was delivering to brought it to me when waiting for the load to be cleared by customs¦¦. lovely people) I found it most amusing when I crossed the river into Romania to pick up a home load, they actually disinfected the truck, happy memoriesstar

Well I tried it out with the cat's sand box, got my torch out, put the music on and I've certainly got imagination and I'll be posting it on here later....obviously at the speed of my connection it might take you hours to view it but after all, you've gained one more today, ...big_laughbig_laugh

Think I need a bit more practicecrycry watch this space....ponder
