ep, you raunchy girl! Now if your talking a 'private dinner! well thats different! 'Blues guitar playing in the background, the sound of the sea gently lapping onto the shore, a fresh breeze sweetly scented with the perfume of honeysuckle, dozens of candles twinkling and darting around the dark verandah.

A glass of chilled wine in a sparkling crystal glass handed to me  by, TOM SELLICK , in his cute, tight little shorts!!!  theres no dinner as ep says an appetite only for the intimate of conversations!!!champagne  ( him indoors wont be reading this!!)

Hang about.  I did have the aperitifs first, and the Argentinian steak and the Argentinian wine and a few rounds of the Argentinian tango....I just didn't go head first into the pleasure dome fantasising over 'little shorts'.   So who's raunchier then....?????big_laughbig_laugh

I think I'd rather mine was an amusement park.

Could he at least call you Betty?

It's a Pandora's Box, Rae. No idea how you will explain this thread at Church on Sunday doh

Leading all these poor innocent people astray! surprised

BTW, BS - thank you so for the Spitting Image memories. Fantastic! I was stunned that I had to think hard to recall some of the political characters of the time, but mostly I did. What a brilliant satire that was.

"How do you spell 'Love'?" (Piglet).

"You don't spell it, you feel it" (Pooh).

'A hug,' said Pooh 'is always the right size!'

I happened upon Paul Simon on OH's TV last night, in a Concert that he did in 2000 when he was 60 years old.  Sang that song too, 'twas smashing.

I'll try that again!

OK now I'll put forward my serious side....on my list:

Golda Meir  - strong principled and honest and ahead of her time, Yehudi Menuin - talented but with the appearance of being a 'gentleman' with a sense of fun, Victor Borge....again ahead of his time and very funny, Sir Arthur Connan Doyle....advanced thinker....Rohl Dahl  brilliant story teller, Beatrix Potter again love her stories, Barbara Castle...admired her principles not necessarily her politics....as for food...soup for starters, something with beef and roasted vegetables and creme brulee, cheeseboard, coffee and liqueurs. Gentle soiree evening with little pomp and ceremony and after the meal sitting around a log fire, big comfy armchairs and telling tales with perhaps a piano and a violin handy....

Perfick.....whistlewhistle

You're very welcome Joanna...I'll invite Al Puchino round and I'll slope off and leave you all to it while I try out my Argentinian Tango unless dear old Victor Borge can knock one out with Yehudi on the violin and you can all watch.....big_laughbig_laugh
