There are certain actors whose films I will always try to watch, regardless of the subject matter/type of film, simply because I think the actors concerned are brilliant in anything they do.

These include Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Bill Nighy, Anthony Hopkins, Jack Nicholson and Johnny Depp.

How about you, who are your favourites and do you think they can't put a foot wrong in films?

The only one I can think of, currently, is Robin Williams.  I will have  think and come back to this.  Good thread Sue.

I'll try that again!

wave When I saw the title of the thread, my immediate thought was Judi Dench.  I just think she is marvellous and so versatile.  Seems like others agree!  smile

Like Toni, I shall try to think of others and add them later.  Now am I judging them on acting ability or sex appeal?????  big_laugh

Amongst the ladies I would travel to watch Judi Dench, Helen Mirren and Diane Keaton any day.

Philip Glenister, Jack Nicholson, Robert de Niro, Sean Connery and our own Liam Neeson, Brendan Gleeson and Colm Meaney.

Never knowingly underfed
