To our Val!  I believe it is one of those that ends in a big, fat Zero - the kind I love - so, Val, I wish you a very Happy Birthday and I hope that all of your friends here will do the same.

Big hugs, m'dear and a smacking kiss too!  big_hug big_hug smooch

I'll try that again!

Thank you my dear and lovely friends.

My daughter is taking the day off and spoiling me rotten - I'm having my hair done and daughter is cooking my dinner! Can't ask for much more - so despite the fact that I've had a bl**dy awful throat (I think laryngitis) for 10 days now, I WILL enjoy today, by hook or by crook!!

Thank you again, you lovely people. big_hug big_hugbig_hug

Oh Toni, there are times when I feel 110 (ending in a big '0'... whistle) but other days when I feel only 40 ... but what does it matter what the 'date' says - it's only a number, ay?? laugh  laugh

It certainly is just a number m'dear.  I am so pleased that you are being spoiled but sorry about the throat, I hope it stops being a pain very soon.  big_hug

I'll try that again!

So glad you had a lovely day with your daughter, Val.  Hope your throat's better today.  Ages ending in '0' scare me.....I like the age 39 so have stuck to that for years!

Yes, they are a bit of a milestone, aren't they, Sue.

However, at the hairdressers yesterday, and I've known her for a while. she knew it was my birthday, so I asked her how old she thought I was. She was worried that she might offend me, so I said I wouldn't ask if I wasn't prepared to be offended.

She said about fifty-five ... if I hadn't had a rotten throat, I would've kissed her! Ha ha ! big_laugh  big_laugh

How strange is this - my Maths is 5+5 ..... eeek

There now, what a compliment to get!  Coincidentally, my hairdresser, yesterday pointed out that whilst I might be seventy I don't act 'old'.  I was very happy with that.

I'll try that again!

Thanks for the confirmation Sue!  I really must try to get D to take me to Wiltshire so that Val and I can meet - all the years we have known each other on the forum and we have, still, to meet.

I'll try that again!
