You eagle eyed old scout you! Thank you Chris. It is my 65th today and I feel enormously joyful to have reached this age since neither of my parents did so. I have celebrated today with my OH with a pub lunch HERE, sausage sandwich for me steak and onion for him, both with fresh cooked filings.
Yesterday I spent several lovely hours with my daughter and was then telephoned by my eldest niece who lives in Las Vegas. Then I was taken to dinner by OH, his youngest tow friends and the mother of one of them, so six in total. It wasn't advertised as a Fawlty Towers night, but it did turn into one. Such fun!

Sausage Sandwich eh ? As Danny will tell you I am a bit of a sausage freak.
I have travelled a lot over the years and have always tried to sample the local offerrings, some amazing some others distinctly worrying!
My father only got to 54 so like you I am rather pleased to still be ticking along even if I am a couple of years ahead of you !!!

Thank you gentle friends, I love belonging to this site. Before lunch I managed a short walk by the canal I'll post a link to my pictures so you can see what I saw. I did enjoy it.

Happy Birthday TA and nope, didn't manage to open the link it gave me the Photobucket home page…I don't know if that was you going down the water-slide (great legs) or building the sand castle in the evening glow…if so…your canal is very picturesque….
