I haven't noticed a post from you recently, are you alright?

I tried to email you but it came back, marked 'Mailbox disk quota exceeded' - perhaps you need to delete some old posts?

I hope you are OK!  big_hugbig_hug

I'll try that again!

I'll try that again!

Folks, I found an entry for Hattie, and clicked on her profile, and she has visited the site today.

Hope she is well and happy.

Sorry to have worried you......I was very involved with a difficult knitting pattern (difficult for a very a very inexperienced knitter like me, at least). I have been neglecting everything & everyone (exc, ept the animals. I will clear out my emails too.

The scarf is finished now. It has a knitted lace edging, of leaves.  You can see it here on Ravelry, knitted by other people. This is a free pattern & I made it in a lovely hand-dyed blue silk & merino wool yarn. I still have to block mine.

I will be back on the forum tomorrow. Bye for now.  big_hug  &  kiss kiss

Good to see you're ok, Nadine.  Your Ravelry link doesn't work, by the way.

waveThanks Sue

It does require quite a bit of concentration & in my case a few sessions of unraveling & re-knitting. I am still a beginner at all this.  I think in the past I hadn't the patience or the time to get a half-decent result but now I have. I also love all the lovely hand-dyed yarns that are available nowadays, mind you they are expensive, but that makes me even more determined to finish the projects

I think I will try something like a lacy shawl next, this will be a real challenge but I evolved a system that worked (eventually !!!) for me to keep track of where I was in the pattern.
