This year the Open Weekend is from the 6th to the 9th of September.  Go to the website to see if anything is happening in your area.  Last year it was wonderful but it was the anniversary of WW11 so I don't know if it will be the same this year.

I'll try that again!

We usually visit a couple of places each year but it's mostly the same places as last year. I haven't decided where to go this time but I think we're going to venture further afield to find somewhere new to go.

The open days are a great idea though – especially because there are some places which aren't usually open to the public.

Visit my blog for food, drink, photography and hamsters.

Like my local windmill, I've never been inside it.

I'll try that again!
