wave I usually watch it, but I often record it so I don't have to watch all the in between bits if you know what I mean.  I did however see Dave and he is rubbish, but oh so funny.  The public will probably keep him in!!  big_laugh

Just had to bath Suki, poor girl! Gave last injection, at least I hope it is the last. She seems a bit stronger today but still has a long way to go. It is very hard looking after her and waiting on relatives. Two more full days to go and we can relax again.
I am feeling very fed up with hearing about how much money they have and what they have bought. Sorry to grumble, will be okay once they have gone!

Took Frank to the vet this evening as vaccinations due and was concerned about a cough he has developed. Turns out he has a mild dose of kennel cough. He is now on antibiotics as well as the meds I have to give Suki. Bit of an expensive time with animals just now. He seems ok, eating well and playing. Hopefully the cough will go soon. He was weighed and is 2.7kg! Only just registered on the scales! Bruno is over 40kg

So, this morning went out to have a look for some floor tiles for the little barn renovation. Not very hopeful, I must admit, as the one we choose always seems to have insufficient for what we need!steam

However, went into one DIY, and very poor choice - not even anything like we wanted.

Next one, though - not only did we find what we wanted, but it was on offer, too ! Yay! ok

Loaded up 26 boxes (each 1.52 m sq); went through checkout, and OH went to get the car while I and an assistant stayed with the tiles outside the front door of the shop.

By now it was 12.00 and the shop closes for 2 hours for lunch @ 12.00, and guess what, it was at this point the heavens opened - absolutely torrential rain. I stayed under cover (I'm not daft! whistle), while OH was in the car loading, and assistant was getting mighty wet, loading from trolley to car.

Both fellers looked shattered and wet. Poor guys. frown

Did you have to make coffee and cake for Hubby when you got back?

I'll try that again!

Early lunch - a small amount of leftover spag bol, divided between us, and cheese on toasted thick slices (because one of the bread mixes didn't work very well, so I cut it into thick slices, and froze the loaf for toasting).

Something warm - always comforting! smile

Took dogs for walk round village lake. No one else there. Stopped at garage for bulb for Smart car, told to come back in an hour. Went to other garage and found what we wanted. There are times when I really do not understand the French.
