So the first garage was going to get it from the second one?

I'll try that again!

First garage only had one person in shop which meant he couldn't serve us!?

second had several mechanics and was no problem.

Something to do with being French. Like the fact I now have to take my Smart to the Mercedes garage and get them them to sign a form declaring my headlights are legal and the speedometer is in kilometers! The headlights thing is checked at the mot, I have to have the mot to import it!

Suki cat had her check up today. Her bloods were much improved but she has not re gained any weight yet. The vet says this is because she is putting everything into making red blood cells. The jaundice has cleared too. She is eating four pouches of Sheba a day and I have to mix in a special high calorie food. We have to go back in two weeks to check her weight and in three weeks for another blood test. She has to stay on steroids for another month before we start tailing them off. This means she has to stay indoors until the steroids are finished as it is critical to maintain the treatment.

Paid off the bulk of the bill. Ouch!

Sneaks in quietly and whispers........I miss my ducks so much am starting a campaign on OH to have some more. The house is still in the garden as OH said he had to be sure I would not change my mind before breaking it up. Wise man! The search for Rouen ducks begins!

Will have to convince OH to build a fence around the house though which will be the difficult bit!

Received an e-mail from our lovely friendly new neighbours who have told us that the guy they bought the house from (some of you may remember he is one of those people you don't want to get close to), has now purchased a house in Normandy, and will be moving there as soon as he can get all his stuff up there.

We are very pleased that he will finally be out of hair. Phew.wave

Normandy is a big place - I really hope you don't meet him ..... but should you meet him, and you hear the tales of accepting an offer he couldn't refuse for a sea-front 19-room house in Guernsey, then I think you'll know that you have met him, unfortunately!  thumbs_down  big_laugh

Since when did doctors turn into 14 year old girls wearing headscarves?

I'll try that again!

Yes, that worries me too.  Happened a few years back, it did not inspire confidence.

The one the other day asked me what kind of exercise I do, telling me that walking was the best for me.  I told her that I can't walk very far or quickly because of the Scoliosis so she suggested that I do gardening!  I snorted and left the surgery.  I wonder what she will have in store for me when I go back for the blood results?

I'll try that again!
