A really decent saute pan - you know one of the ones with straight sides and a lid.

I used to love the odd crumpet in front of the fire in the living room when I was younger, I will have to have a search see if I can find my long fork and have another go when they have finsihed destroying my home..

Is there a recipe for crumpets on the blog please ? Cos I can't see it if there is ...

I think the one kitchen gadget I could not do without is my knife sharpener. In fact I have just taken delivery of a brand new one (from Lakeland, of course..... smile ! ) The old one had worn out. Now I have lovely sharp knives again & life is much easier in the kitchen. Mind you I am in love with both my halogen oven & the slow cooker.   ok  magic

I chose this one  http://www.lakeland.co.uk/F/product/14257   because I have arthritis in my hands

and this had good reviews for being safe & easy to use (besides doing a great job).

I also knew if itdidn't suit me Lakeland would replace it without quibbling.....they are a wonderful

company to deal with.

TP, I have used one like yours in the past but nowadays I like a decent barrier between me & the

blade. You also don't have to apply any pressure as you pull it through the grooves.  I am very happy

with it.  welldone Lakeland star

PS This doesn't look so good either so I have tried to edit it........Hmmmmm!! I think we need TA.

Sounds like a good one to get then, OH needs one desperately.  They are all shown being used by a left handed person, presumably they can be used by right handers too?  Sympathies for the arthritis.

I'll try that again!

Nothing I can do other than edit the posts m'dear and I'm not sure that Danny could help either. Perhaps the software needs refreshing " or summink?  confused  I noticed the other day that one of Seth's posts had a tiny font and I have no idea how that would happen either.

I'll try that again!

Yes, right or left, doesn't matter......hope he likes it.  Tell him to read the instructions first as you both

push & pull the blade through in a continuous movement.....that took a little getting used to to begin

with.  surprised

embarassed I've jsut watched the video, it says they are ambidexterous.  Which implies that they can use both hands...

The Postage is a bit steep so I'll have a look to see if there is anything else I'd like, there never seems to be anything I need nowadays.  Do you know if they accept Paypal?

I'll try that again!
