Hope you went back to bed and managed to sleep Ruth. The middle of the night can somehow be a very lonely place sometimes.
Didn't sleep until 7am. Had a couple of hours then. So why am I wide awake now? One 12 hour sleep and my body/brain thinks that'll do for the next month I reckon. I promise I am going to bed now and will try to go to sleep.

I feel that I might be here a little longer. I have no idea why I slept so late today.

Ha, I was awake by 4.00am! I did drift a couple of times and woke fully by 8.00am. I shall be tired by midday I expect.

You'll probably need a rest after having so many dogs.

Actually, they are no bother at all, except at feeding time. I will admit that can be a bit frenetic for very short while.

I can't imagine how I'd cope with seven dogs to feed. Just as well some are going home.

Seven dogs does sound like a handful! I just found out I'm gaining my daughter, her dog, maybe her boyfriend's dog as well, crow, macaw and three ducks for christmas. Now the challenge is to distract my brain from thinking about the logistics of that – keeping our drakes apart, keeping the crow away from just about everything, finding space for big cages and dog beds… No, I'm not going to think about it, I need to get a decent sleep.
I have to start pushing my body clock back into place. After my 12 hour sleep it's shifted back to not wanting to sleep until at least 4am. Pity, I'd got that problem sorted and had been sleeping fairly well until I neglected to use my therapy lamp for a few mornings. That'll larn me!
