The probable date for Original Redhead & Gearjammer leaving the UK has been agreed as the 21st March.
Gives plenty of time to drive to Bulgaria for final contract signing and slippage in case we discover places of interest during drive.
Just need to finalise route now, oh yeah and get both vehicles services, finish building a trailer, pack, etc etc

Hi MOS
Tackling the move is resembling the blind leading the blind.
Don't know about the house EP purchased but the one I found is being left FULLY furnished. Admittedly some of the furnishing will require some modifications/tarting up but all useable. However, I have some items such as a chess table c/w turned metal pieces that my father made that I want to keep & Paul would like to keep some inherited items also.
Looked into packing and shipping and disliked the costs therefore we are taking a fully loaded T4 van and caravan (with some stuff in) and an estate car and box trailer (still to be finished). We have a few people in this country who have offered to store anything we don't manage to fit in on this trip, until we can either collect or they come visit.
Thanks to you and others for the good wishes. As has been previously suggested I am starting a blog/diary to record the ups and downs. Once started, I will add the address to my tagline so those interested can check out the progress.
Just cos I'm leaving the country you ain't getting rid of me

What exciting/scary times for you guys, Paul and Tracey. For one moment I had a picture of you driving a tractor and trailer all the way to BU until you dashed my dream by mentioning your T4 van!
Really looking forward to reading your exploits and your new blog.
You mission, Jim, should you decide to accept it, is to investigate and provide a detailed report on EP (the inside story!)
