Thank you for the link Barbara, very interesting reading there. The things that happen when one isn't looking! I tried Rooibos once, never again, it left my tongue sticking to the roof of my mouth. Nasty. I have various tisanes that I drink occasionally but not every day. Most of the time it is water, mostly warm.

Yes, I too mostly drink water, often tea-temperature. I had a friend who always asked for hot water, and once commented how easy that was to deal with. She said that most people protest, or think they are not being properly hospitable if they produce a cup of hot water.

You are right, it is easy, especially when lunching at a restaurant. I have a friend who drinks Cappuccino with her lunch when we go out to eat, it seems so wrong to me. I would only ever order that instead of breakfast.

Peppermint tea, or tea straight from my mint plants is the only tea I can stomach- tea tastes like wet leaves to me, not in a good way!

I like fresh mint tisane in the summer but not too frequently through a day. Sage is good if you have throat or breathing discomfort.

My hubby would have a dicky fit if he heard me ask for hot water. The only time I have drunk hot water was when I was pregnant and so the mere thought of it would have him worried
