£17 is not too bad, Nadine. It's £40 in our area.

It's probably worth it in case they start to breed.

wave  Danny,  I don't think Nadine needs a ratcatcher.  big_laugh

Perhaps yesterday was just too much for you.  tongue

ep  Oh Danny…….so you took my name in vain…..again…….big_laughbig_laugh

In actual fact I have had great problems with rats (in the past). A couple of years ago I had to resort to help from the council. They came & advised me, suggesting what I should use.

I still keep an eye on the problem & put down bait .  It is something you have to deal with if you keep livestock. I have never had them in the house luckily but I have had huge ones I have had to dispose of……YUCK !! Luckily they were all dead.

Sooliz, don't panic, it is easy to deal with once you have found where their runs are. Contact the Environmental Health Technical Officer of your Council & they will probably come & visit you to give advice. They are very helpful & nice people who deal with these kind of problems.

Good Luck  big_hug

As an aside, how do you quote someone without your reply being inside the blue box?

I click on 'quote' and then press Enter once on my keyboard so that I start typing on the next line down.  Works for me.

Husband bought a trap and baited it with……a small peanut butter sandwich (we were told that rats absolutely love them! eeek).  He's just checked the trap, it has caught – a mouse! cry
