What about that Borg emoticon - no good? (I think it's too small, and not obvious enough) – but then, what do I know …… I asked my son what this character is about, and his response:
They 'assimilate' beings into their collective – they have one consciousness, and infect beings with nanites which turn parts of the body into a machine.
They pursue 'perfection' and the destruction of imperfect beings.
Ah, I knew I shouldn't have asked him ……

A very concise description of the Borg.  Your son is obviously a man of character BS! Anyone who knows what the borg are like are all right in my book.
