I'll have you know that in my youth I had certificates for being the high jump champion in the inter-school sports but sadly that was then and this is now…..I'll learn to modify my posts much to the chagrin of the other users…well maybe….Clyde…..yellyell

Arrrgh monster monster monster

And dalekto B A. I innocently went on line to request seats for our flights. American Airlines managed it with only a couple of curses from me. Then I tried BA. I managed to get through to our reservations, but it said it wanted a lot more detail. I thought the travel agent had supplied passport numbers and such. Ok, I will phone them tomorrow to check it all out. Not much of a problem, just an irritation. Then I tried for a seat reservation–and BA want £20 for each flight to reserve a seat in advance!monster Oh, yes, I can reserve a seat for free when I attempt to check in on line 24 hours before the flight. monster

Can I spork them?

Oh Dear Lord, Barbara, this gets more and more convoluted. Honestly, it's enough to put me off multi-leg vacations for life.

As a matter of curiousity, is your prefernce for window/aisle/don't care?

I was hoping to get a good look at the meteor shower which is supposed to be happening  – according to the bbc it's supposed to be impressive tonight. Of course, sods law means it's *&%$£@ cloudy steam

I'll have another look later on in case the sky clears a bit tardis

I completely forgot about the meteor shower last night!

Danny, for daytime flights I prefer the window seat, but have to fight with P for it. I think he can see over me because he is taller, he is not convinced by this. whistle So we either switch seats or each get the window for one section of the trip. At night I like to put a pillow in the window and get a bit more room to go to sleep. P prefers to be on the aisle and able to walk around. I will have to try to remember which of us had our preference on the last overnight flight, but that was over 2 years ago…doh
