Hey, Mutley, thanks for revealing a bit about your past life and relationships. Your Jade sounds like the best thing that happened to you ever. Nice one.

And, yes, I agree that the bike might have been disastrous over time. It's funny how sometimes a loss works out to have been a good thing after all.

And, S.O.L, FN does not have enough hours in the day to read all of the forum! Anyway, I have a few days to put a plan together Smile  We had snow this morning but it melted immediately and has not come back. The forecast is not good for the coming days, though.

Hey Jules, croeso! and congrats on the leccy blanket. they are one of thee greatest inventions ever, without a shadow of a doubt. Also I hope you enjoy the football. Not my cup of tea at all, but each to their own. Rugby, and cricket, now those are sports.

Mutley, you sound like an amazing dad! I bet Jade is going to turn out to be the coolest kid in her class by a long way.

And D, well, thinking cap on boy!

This eve I have been mostly painting the bathroom, which is only very loosely linked to romance, I know. But is partly meant as a surprise for the Sam as he's not here and not due back til late tomorrow. I've had barely any communication from him today, which is abnormal as we usually e-mail each other a lot, probably a bit too often really. He has put his silence down to working on the car and shopping for "erm, stuff". I am quietly confident that this means presents for me. I love presents! Laugh

Hey everyone,

Ruthdigs – he does have one brother….but he's 14!!!

Thanks for the shout-outs peeps.

Danny – I'm pleased that you love Vally Day.  I just feel bad for the singletons who don't get a look in.  I like to make a point of hanging out with the girlies who aren't loved up…then again, without Vally Day I'd be very cold in this current climate so perhaps I should embrace it a little more!

My boy came back from his little car fixing jaunt at about 00:10 this morning. I'd stayed up to wait for him, and just as I thought it might be a god idea to go turn the electric blanket on and stepped into the hall i saw the headlights of the car swing onto the drive. Synchronicity is awesome.

This morning I got one mini present to keep me going til I finish work, a chocolate freddo frog. he is a boy who truly understand me! Heart

It's good to see a disparate group of souls united in the lust for chocolate amphibians. it brings a glow to the cockles of my heart.

other lovely gifts from the boy for my birthday were the RHS kitchen gardening yearbook. Very excited about that. also a cupcake tree, which is the height of unnecessary, but I have been secretly coveting one for quite a while now. and some bacon flavoured mints. They're smokey, and not unpleasant.

he is such a lovely boy Heart

Now i'm off to the doctor's to see if it's healthy to have glowing heart cockles. There must be  a cream or something that you can get for that…

Rae – i can assure you that Chronic Glowing Heart Cockles Syndrome (CGHCS to the uninitiated) is not something that requires treatment. Just nurturing.

Like rhubarb. Smile

Mutley – to be honest, I have never seen a choc froggy. Or toad. But I do like to gnaw on an occasional choc reindeer at Christmas Ok Laugh

Ruth – there is always hope for next year, but beating Frogs in Durty Dublin only count for 10 points, as opposed to away from home in Paris = 200 mouth watering chocco amphibians! Sorry
