I just had to start this new topic....as you know I am always wandering around the internet, doing my travelling that way now.... I can't put up with the hassle of the old way (I did a lot of it then & enjoyed it immensely). In 2000 I made my last journey; to Hawaii to holiday with dear friends, who live there, via a work engagement in Texas & a last visit to San Francisco, which I have always loved. I had a strong inkling that this was my last trip & the travelling was hell.....I knew my life was changing.

So a lot of my pet blogs show places I love, beautiful photographs of all sots of things & places, art, gardens, animals, curiosities, food (of course), crafts & people.

The first one is a fairly new discovery to me...... a US farming blog full of wonderful photos

Who wouldn't love looking at it & being transported to these places,   laugh

Needled

Knitso Facto

Dances with wool

Jean's Knitting  (Not me! I'm Jeanfromcornwall.)wave

Yarn Harlot - I went to see her when she came to give a talk in London, and she is delightful. Her books on knitting are great too.

Not deliberately - though I think I have seen a comment somewhere else. Can't remember where.

It is the digital equivalent of bumping into a friend in the checkout queue isn't it!

It is rather;  I sometimes bump into Joanna and Kate on various art/fabric sites.  And SOL, who used to post here quite a bit and on her own blog but now her blog is private and she doesn't appear on the forum, but I do see her occasionally commenting somewhere.  I comment all over the place on topics various, always with encouragement and pleasantness.

I'll try that again!

Always fun to bump into someone familiar in another virtual place.

Kateuk makes things at http://www.etsy.com/shop/finkstuff and sometimes she does this too http://www54paintings.blogspot.com/ and also this http://finkstuff.weebly.com/

It usually brings me up with a shock to start with.

I'll try that again!
