I thought I would add this as a topic, as most people seem to watch it. Dave was a complete Prat, but laughed like a drain, he was so funny. I like Debera Meeden, sorry, don't know how to spell her name, she is no longer young and svelte, but a pleasure to watch her sheer enjoyment of dancing. Thought . I thought Kristina was verging on indecency, her outfit was so skimpy, did not leave anything to the imagination. Particularly as a lot of children watch. Good to see dear old Bruce back, although he looked a bit pale round the Gills.

Don't watch it, don't read about it.
Anyone watching the Great British Bake Off?
Who do you think will win. I reckon either the talented young Kimberly or the clever Ruby will.

Hmm, clever Ruby...says Simon...Hmm, only watched one episode I admit, but she seemed a complete dipstick...happy to be proved wrong, will try and watch it this week.

She appears to be completely dippy but some of the stuff she makes is amazing

I shall be very upset if Ruby wins, the efforts she did in the semi final were terrible and she should have gone then

Was a bit surprised by her efforts there, not her usual style.

Kimberly to win ok

My money's on Kimberley too - since they were doing the English muffins and she put a piece of the trimmings on the girdle and then checked it to see how far the heat had gone through - that told me she knew what she was doing.wave

I had to look up who the contestants are, I haven't been keeping up with the show.  I hadn't realised that one of the men was from MK.

I'll try that again!

Well whoever we think it might be- it has already been decided as the programme is obviously filmed starting in springtime, so must have finished ages ago.

When I was still working, an episode of The Apprentice was filmed on our premises in a May time, and we had to sign a declaration that we would not reveal anything about it as it was not due to go out until November (it was the final task they had to do) and instead of November, they rescheduled the programmes broadcasting to early the next year and the final did not air until May that year, so we had to keep stum for a year! Very tempting at times to talk about it.

Are we having fun yet? I am!

It was the one where they had to develop a new alcoholic drink and also the bottle to go with it. All the drinks and the bottle designs were done in conjunction with my old company premises in Bishops Stortford.

Yes they did not listen to what they were being told and of course the programme only shows a snapshot of what went on. The designers worked for a solid 24 hours on design and model making and the final bottles were delivered to them at 6am on the next morning. The liquids were developed within the working day.

However, the final judging was done near to the day the programme went out which was a year later as I pointed out.

I believe the winning lady was the one that recently sued Alan Sugar for not giving her the work she was expecting to do.
