Got topic name from the email sent to me by Big Sis.  As we hit December, here is something to put us all in a festive mood, especially on these dark days.  Enjoy!  (Make sure your speakers are turned on.)

Cool, eh?

Gone crazy. Back soon.

Heather, you almost made me burn my lunch!big_laugh

I love the Hallelujah Chorus, it gives me shivers its such a beautiful piece.

Great acoustics there too!

I was in a church choir for 6 years and this Hallelujah chorus really does make the spine tingle. The other special piece I loved to sing was Stainer's Crucifixion - it is so moving!

Like you Val I used to sing in a church choir and musically Christmas is such a mixture of music and emotions.

For something lighter and hopefully make you smile try:

Thank you Heather and Chris!  I don't know why, but I always get a bit tearful when hearing music like that.

I'll try that again!

Hey Chris,  Thanks so much for your link.  My central heating is on the blink at present and I was near freezing till I joined in with the CanCan.  Wheeeeehoooo!  (Feeling much warmer now.)

Gone crazy. Back soon.

Alongside the Hallelujah experience, I really enjoyed the flash mob in Antwerp - I have watched both of these two several times.

Fab.

Thanks so much Heather.

I sent a link to my sister, and she has written back to say that she had been feeling a little low - until she watched that - made her spine tingle.

Enjoyed the can-can, too, Chris. Thanks.

Speaking about uplifting, this is about as high as it gets, but please note the cautionary notes because they are serious:

"You've got to take 7 minutes out of your day to watch this madness.

NOW " IF YOU SUFFER A LACK OF CONCENTRATION THEN DON™T WATCH THIS!

IF YOU HAVE ANY VERTIGO PROBLEMS ALSO DON™T ATTEMPT TO WATCH THIS STANDING UP!

IF YOU WANT TO SHARE THIS WITH ANYONE THEN AT LEAST WARN THEM THAT THIS IS EXTRAORDINARY FOOTAGE WHICH MAY CAUSE THEM SOME ANGST!!!

RNS Tower Climbers!
Its not possible to watch this without sweaty palms!
The new Skywalk, right at the top of Centrepoint, is 260m above street level.
This tower is over twice that! Just wait for the cartoon intro to finish, then hold on to your seat."
