I've started this off as a reminder of what we've all said we would bring to the smallholder gathering..think of it as the multicoloured swap shop.

I think I said I'd make some of the white choc & baileys fudge, may also bring one of my chocolate fudge cakes.

Am I supposed to be bringing any planty stuff.

Nadine – If the angelica seeds are ripe I could bring them, are you attending

wave  Sadly Janet I can't be there, a prior arrangement I can't get out of.

******Ooooh Janet !!

The parcel of Angelica has just arrived (9.45am), so fast. I have just put them in water for a while but they are looking great.  I will start on the recipe later today. I am so grateful to you.  rose big_hug rose

We will lay on the basics of a cold buffet (with real meat big_laugh ) that we can refresh all day as people munch through it. It's amazing how hungry you can get early evening, even with a full lunch.

Also the barbie will be fired up for anybody who wants to burn a sausage. This will be DIY on demand but we will have the best of sausages and burgers available from the organic butcher in Fordham plus odds and ends like chicken portions and so on. It's not a big barbie, just a normal circular Weber jobbie fuelled with charcoal.

We will have half a dozen crates of San Miguel beer available (coz it's on off 3 for £20 at Tesco right now) but not a lot of wine I think unless our lottery ticket comes up trumps in the meantime.

Really getting excited about this now. Especially as the TV thing is out of the way at last.

Feel free to bring along stuff for sale/swap too, if you want.

Never knowingly underfed

The BBQ Chilli sauce has been, err, created  brightsparklystuff

It is  sweet and smokey and somewhat fiery. A good depth of flavour with a nice sting (but not too hot at the moment). steam

No guarantees as to its heat after the fresh green chillis, lemon grass and garlic have marinated for a week doh
