" if I bring a few of my home grown chillis, can you smoke them"

Smoke or smoke and roast. I certainly can.

They do go a bit soggy after basic smoking so if you want them de-seeded do it before hand. I'll be smoke roasting so they could also go in there.

If you can dry them after smoking all the better.

As for my chilli barbecue sauce steam, the Naga chillis devil  have turned up but are in the post office collection office and I wont be able to get them before the weekend frown so you're all safe  ok

Hi All.

Just for the non chilli-heads out there I have just made a  non chilli (well just a little mild Thai sweet chilli sauce for depth of flavour) barbecue sauce.

Be warned though, this sauce may just bore your taste buds into submission.

I've just been to our local butcher to get some YORKSHIRE black pudding, to find out he's not got any in…bought some huddersfield stuff which I'm not enthusiastic about, but will bring it for comparison purposes.

However, while there I did buy 2 big pork pies as he's an award winner

I'm going to have a crack at the bacon, apple and black pudding pies that I made for one of my CDWMs a while ago as they were gorgeous.

I've made the fudge, bottled up SOME sloe gin (vintage 2008) and am now dithering between the blackberry brandy and the sloe vodka.

I've got some lovely whitby crab pate from this wonderful little deli in York, still fancy making the choc brownies and some rocky road if I get time. Sleeping bags on the washing line airing (as it's first dry day we've had), going to sort out the car now

Thinking about it I might  bring my firestarters (steel/flint and piston) and do some demos of that as well.

Now that would be cool to see. We have a steel/flint jobby that's great at making the sparks but G and I need to learn to be better at actually turning them into a fire.
