Has anybody got any remedies for the relief of toothache as I'm contemplating going down the shed to get some pliers.cry

You poor thing, Oil of Cloves, is the best thing I know, and placing something warm , not hot on the affected part, might help. Tina wave

Brandy...much nicer than oil of cloves., you have to sit with it in your mouth over the problem area for a minute or so, then swallow, have another swig and so on, until,the ache goes or you pass out.big_laugh

Orajel - tiny tube of anaesthetic gel to numb the discomfort (short term, anyway). Not cheap, but may help.

(Similar to the baby teething gel, Bonjela.)

next appointment for dentist is for Tuesday, nothing before, I'm finding Ibuprofen and Paracetamol are just about taking the edge off.
