just closed up chicken houses and they are all very wet, looking miserable but should soon dry out with all the body heat. Nearly blown away by the force of the wind this evening, it is howling down the chimneys!

I don't believe it rained during daylight hours today. Perhaps that will be the norm for this year.

It snowed just before the turn of the year last night and this morning we woke up to a light covering and a beautiful blue sky. At -4C it was perfect for a lovely winter walk

 It is sunny with a beautiful cloudless blue sky & very little breeze.
However it is very muddy underfoot from all the rain we have had lately. It is great to have the sun back.

Sunny with mostly blue sky, although we had a quick heavy shower about an hour ago. Colder than the last few days, and apparently we're in for more rain and wind this afternoon/overnight
