Yes it's got to about 3 or 4 degrees here during the day today, but what a glorious day, so bright and sunny, perfect skiiing weather, if we had any hills, or any snow.

Light overnight snow, not quite as cold but that could be because more snow is on the way.
Just watching bit on BBC about driving in snow, they are joking aren't they about keeping a bar of Galaxy in the boot for emergencies. In my life every day has an emergency that needs chocolate, it wouldn't stay there more than an hour!

It is minus 10*C here at the moment….I thought it was a lot colder than yesterday morning when I fed the tree-perching pullets their extra breakfast just now…..they get this long before I let the others out. I find them waiting for me by the back door. I will put some warm porridge on for them all. I got 9 eggs yesterday despite the cold.

It is very sunny with a blue cloudless sky & no wind; we had a hard frost needless to say.

Keep warm & safe everyone…..big_hug

Minus four here and the sun is desperately trying to break through.  Strange weather overnight…we had a slight thaw or rain and then the  temperature must have dropped again….my outside terraces are like skating rinks…I'm taking it steady…eeekeeek

wave Well I should not have been so smug yesterday about the sunny weather.  It is wild and wet with a bitter wind today.  This spot is much more exposed and I am watching the loch whipping up white horses and a ferry battling to stay on course.

Sounds exciting – if you are indoors watching from the warmth of your home.

I'll try that again!

I spent a large part of yesterday on the lottie as it was gloriously sunny (thermals are a wonderful invention) but today it is just too darn cold – I have a crafting day planned indoors with some cheesy films to keep me company I think….I'm not sure what the actual temperature is (since I rely on the car to tell me, and I'm not starting the engine just for that!) but I doubt it's above freezing

Just sorted and stacked new delivery of wood. Kept me warm! OH is finally sealing up entrance to next door barn so the blanket has gone at last along with the icy draft! Just need to persuade him to put together the old dresser that is sitting in a barn and I will be a really happy bunny!

-17 during the night, -10 just now, still no water.  Just going out to stock up on bottled water.  You don't realise how much  you use in a day, we were being very very frugal yesterday and went through over 20 ltrs.  1 lot of dishwashing and the water being re-used down the loo.  What a performance cry
