Did you not get the entertaining hailstorms as well?  We had them over here in Leeds, along with the gales and the sun and the rain and the sleet….one especially nice one was while I was out walking the dog.  Even he didn't enjoy that! dog

I suppose some of the showers could have been hail Lyn, wave I only went outside once, to excercise the dog, and did that in a sunny spell.

Hazy sunshine, high light clouds, still rather windy but nothing like yesterday which was very nasty. It felt much colder when I put my rubbish out for collection this morning but that was very early. The forecast is for rain this afternoon….aargh

It's the calm before the storm here…….gale force winds and rain through the night, all quiet now, but even windier and more rain forecast later on eeek.  But not as bad as Scotland (poor Danuta) so mustn't grumble! wink

Dull, dull, dull.  And windy.  This is what Danuta has…

I'll try that again!

Miserable, grey, damp, but not actually raining yet. My 2 dehumidifiers are filling pretty quickly.

We had a phone call from friends last night, and the Isles of Scilly had 19 inches of rain last year. Want to move, Danuta? big_laugh big_laugh

That is about right Toni.  I am a bit further south than Oban, but the weather looks the same, now wet AND windy.

Think I shall move to the Isles of Scilly.  big_laugh
