Another grey & depressing morning.  frown  No more snow overnight & it is 0*C at the moment; it was -1*C when I got up earlier.  When I went outside it was quite slippery as the snow is just beginning to melt & the atmosphere is very damp. It is very misty again & on the gritted road outside the drivers are, for once, driving very carefully & with their lights on.

Take care everyone !  big_hug  big_hug

No snow in Reading over night but what we have has frozen.

I can hear some poor soul scraping their car outside.

Same here, prodigal son is very disappointed as he was hoping for much more and had gone out and bought himself a snowboard and boots with his none existent money in anticipation.

A vague attempt to snow today- our shopping in Bury St Edmunds to day was a treat- the main car park was virtually empty when we arrived and we were done and dusted an hour quicker than normal it was so quiet, no queues anywhere. People were probably expecting some more snow which did not arrive.

Are we having fun yet? I am!

Still waiting for the forecasted snow to arrive. At the moment there is a bit of a breeze which makes it feel colder than it is , around freezing, and the sky is an overall uniform light grey. We have been told to expect snow around lunchtime and through the afternoon.

It is snowing here & has been for the last one & a half hours. The temperature is -2*C with hardly a breeze. Hardly any traffic on the road outside, except tor the gritting truck every few hours.

Snowing still; it started at about 9.30am and it hasn't stopped at all, just a steady fall of powdery stuff. I've had enough now but more of it has been forecast for later.

I'll try that again!

We've had no snow since Friday, and what there was is rapidly disappearing (thank goodness).  No more forecast either, I don't think.  Just been gloomy and cold today.  On a brighter note, the field at the front of the house was full of redwings this morning - lovely start to the day which brought a smile to my face smile
