That is what I should like to know.  Is the forum awfully slow for you too?

BTW - how is your weather?  (See what I did there?)

I'll try that again!

I envy you, Jack! Having said that we didn't get quite as cold as predicted last night, -12C when I got up, sunny and calm, rose to -9C. Quite comfortable if you are dressed warmly and don't stay outside too long. The forestry guys were around our street today chopping up all the fallen branches. They have done a stellar job of cleaning up after last weekend's ice storm.

Home is where the heart is.

Similar to yesterday, cool, grey, occassional rain. We are off duck feeding later with grandkids, so depends on the weather not getting any worse, and even getting better (I wish)

Are we having fun yet? I am!

big_hug Just done a round trip of 27 miles to drop Colin off at the castle, through gale force winds, torrential rain and lots of surface water, not very pleasant at all.  It has calmed down a bit now, and the rain is not so heavy.

Grey & miserable but not at all windy.

wave Sorry about your bad weather, Danuta.  Do you have to collect Colin later, or has he gone for New Year?  Safe journey if you do.   big_hug

Happy New Year  to you & everyonechampagne.

wave It is called Dunans Castle and Colin is working there for a wee while, helping with their sale of Lord and Lady titles!!!!!!!!!!   The folks there are trying to raise funds to restore the castle itself.  I don't have to pick him up thank goodness.  A guy from Bute is there and will drop him off at the ferry.   The weather has improved though and hopefully it will stay dry for my walk in a little while!!

Bright sunshine here again, with yet another howling gale due tonight ponder

We were going to go to Weston super Mare to watch the fireworks at midnight, but don't think we'll bother - they'll probably be cancelled anyway.

Strong gusts of wind and totally grey sky. Had hoped for a good walk with the dogs now Frank is without his collar of shame, but seems unlikely.
