There is still frost on one of the roofs opposite, the sun obviously never reached it.

Beautiful day today with the sun shining but -10C so rather cold again. Perhaps another half inch of snow again last night.

Snow is hammering down, we don't get gritters in rural France, so could be housebound for a while, snow tyres haven't arrived either !!!

Woke up this morning to a covering of snow. It is freezing cold with bright sunshine at the moment. Not enough sunshine to melt the icy snow though. Just glad I am going nowhere today.
We seem to be faring quite well here in comparison to the east coast of the country.

We woke to snow as well, not much, possibly two centimetres but it has melted now and the sky is cloudy.

Sky has cleared here so I suspect that it is below freezing now.

There was snow in Cornwall this morning, but only the slightest sifting in my garden. Cars coming down from the villages higher up – about 5 miles away – had a good coating of snow. My daughter sent me a picture of her ducks in the snow but she's down Redruth way. Its bitterly cold now and the garden stayed icy all day.
