Why is it when a person walks through a spiders web they immediately become a KUNG FU MASTER?

What makes you wonder?

Utterly brilliant, Bob - it's because we can't stand the touch of the web, makes me shudder just thinking of it!  I did, though employ a little spider this summer, to remove the fruit flies.  The arrangement worked well, I got rid of its poo and dead fly bodies and it was fed - until I got back from France when I found its dead body on the window sill.  I hope another one comes along when needed.

I'll try that again!

Thats not it's dead body ta, spiders outgrow their skin and like snakes, they shead it....so in truth your spider is hiding somewhere, alive and larger.

I had removed two earlier exoskeletons and this was more than a shell, in that I couldn't see through it.  It would be nice if it did survive because there are more fruit flies now.

I'll try that again!

WHY IS IT ...... that some people join and don't introduce themselves, or, even put a brief description on their profile page?

"How do you spell 'Love'?" (Piglet).

"You don't spell it, you feel it" (Pooh).

'A hug,' said Pooh 'is always the right size!'

I am afraid I am guilty as charged Val, I came back and forth for Recipes for a couple of Years, before joining the Forum.

Irritating isn't it Val?  I rarely welcome any new ones who do take the time to introduce themselves because I just know that they won't join in.

I'll try that again!

Danuta - it's the other way round here - daughter and family left yesterday, now I have all the bedlinen to wash (expecting next set of relatives to arrive), and the forecast is rain all day, and possibly for a few days! Grrrr!
