Hi Toni,

It is the very first time one of our dogs has come back like that from these kennels- we shall mention it to them, but they are the best around, Rosie loves the whole family, parents and three daughters who help out.

They do treat dogs on request or if they suspect a case, but Rosies coat is so short, it is surprising the passengers had anywhere to hide, so they probably did not think to check.

I suspect one of the other dogs that came in must have had them, they are allowed to socialise with other dogs that they get on with and run around a large enclosure, so we are not unhappy about it, just a nuisance, but we had everything to hand for treatment and nothing has shown up today.

Are we having fun yet? I am!

Pools of blood all along the farm track today , on closer examination my doctorate (equivalent) in scatology soon provided the answer , Redwings have been gorging on the hips and and haws drinking from the puddles. They leave little red messages consisting of the fluffy interior of the hips (itching powder) and haw stones when we get a shower these drain or submerge into the puddle dyeing it red .wave

No red wings here sadly. Rosie and I frequently disturb a male pheasant on our way though the chutchyard. There are several bird feeders set up by the chap who lives next to the church, and it comes in to the churchyard to pick up the scattered seeds.

Are we having fun yet? I am!
