Just caught up with this thread- I have so many top three's

Hotel California is one of my favourites too so can I have one more here

1) Riders on the storm by the Doors   great video as well

2) Here comes the sun by the Beatles  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6tV11acSRk  something we need more of at the moment

Team Danny performed Somebody That I Used To Know on The Voice tonight, it was superb.

Riders on the Storm is one of my favourite songs, Jim Morrison had the most amazing voice.  The Doors were a bit before my time (late 70s is more my era) but I love that song.

Riders on the storm…one of my top ten songs, remember years ago, used to play it loud at night when we'd had a good night's 'partying' all  the lights turned off and absolute silence apart from the music…works with The End, also by the doors – ah, those were the days

Now if we are talking opera Jessye Norman is a huge favourite of mine, as is the opera "Dido & Aeneas"

I enjoyed all those – especially your find, Simon.

Nice one.

This is a throwback to the 70s – none of the Arlo Guthrie online tracks are a patch on the original but I think this video has the one that I recall as the original. One of my ambitions is to ride the City of New Orleans if it is still in existence.
